Post-surgery rehabilitation

What is this treatment?
Post-surgery rehabilitation is a structured physiotherapy programme that restores strength, movement and confidence after an operation such as knee, hip or shoulder surgery. It starts with a 45-minute assessment, sets measurable goals, and typically runs for six to twelve weeks with home exercises between sessions.
Who it's for
Anyone recovering from orthopaedic or soft-tissue surgery who wants a clear plan and a realistic timeline for getting back to work, sport or daily life.
What to expect
Your first session covers your surgeon's protocol, a movement and strength assessment and your goals. From there, sessions are weekly or twice weekly, with a written home programme. Progress is measured at each visit so you can see the numbers move.

As soon as your surgeon clears you. Starting in the first two weeks after surgery leads to better outcomes for most procedures.
How many sessions will I need?
Most programmes run six to twelve weeks. We give you an estimate at the first session and update it as you progress.
